Lighting, shades, music and gates that just work, put in by a local crew from The Plains. We’ll come out, walk the house with you, and give you a straight answer.
Equipment we can still service in fifteen years, not whatever is cheapest this quarter.
Ask Josh.ai for any song and Apple Music plays it, in any room. Lights, shades, music and climate respond to plain speech, and far less leaves the house than with cloud assistants. See Josh.ai →
One system for lighting, shades, audio, video and gates, with Apple Music built in. Perfect control, no clunky Sonos app.
Speakers that disappear into walls, ceilings and landscapes, powered room by room.
Gate operators made in Van Nuys, California. Intercoms built in Berlin, with no monthly fees.
Designed with Patrick Harders in Danville, Virginia. Marine-grade brass, trade only.
Music is our passion, but we can do Lighting, Shades, Wi-Fi and Gates for homes and farms from The Plains to Georgetown.
Light the paths, the trees and the barn at dusk, on a timer that follows the sunset.
One remote or one app for music, TV, lights and climate. Simple enough for the whole family.
A few words from folks in Middleburg and around Hunt Country.
I was 12 when my dad, Dick Reed, and I built a pair of stereo speakers from scratch at our house in Friendship Heights, D.C. They played music for our family for years, and they’re where all of this started.
I grew up in D.C., went to Gonzaga, then UC Santa Cruz, and stayed in Los Angeles working on films as a production coordinator. That’s where I learned audio and video properly. After 9/11 I came home to Washington, and in 2006 I started Wired Up Home Theater. Today it’s Metamorphosis Environments.
I came out to Middleburg in 2010 to visit friends, fell for the place and never left. I work out of Windcrest Farm in The Plains. You may have heard our work at Hunter’s Head Tavern, Common Grounds or the Middleburg Tennis Club, or at a farm in Paris with 52 speakers inside and out.
I like pitching in around town too: the sound for the Middleburg Christmas parade, and charging stations for the riders at the Upperville Colt & Horse Show. When you call, you get me.
